When my camera is not with me, I’m constantly snapping away photos on my phone. For me making images is not only a joy but an essential medium of expression. My training is largely self-taught, save for a college course in 35mm black and white film. My approach and style are informed by my academic background in Art History, and love of photojournalism and street photography. I am devoted to the vision of any given project, but often rely on those influences for a unique perspective.

I am a first-generation Bengali-American who grew up in NYC in the 90’s. Being an avid birder and guitarist, I’m definitely the type to bring a ukelele or guitar to the campsite. Not one to sing “Wonderwall”, as a new dad to a bouncing 1-year-old boy, you’ll probably hear me crooning a Raffi inspired hit instead.
